We're meeting at the church at 2pm on Saturday, January 28th. Bring $10 CASH (they don't take anything but cash). You will need a Medical/Liability Release Formor you cannot ride the bus with us.
There will be a later van going with VERY limited seating -- it's for the cafe workers and for quiz bowl participants that cannot make the 2pm bus. Same story -- $10 CASH and you MUST have a Medical/Liability Release Formor you cannot ride the bus with us.

New Year's Eve Eve Lock-In
OK -- Eve Eve -- would that be an Adam? It doesn't matter what you call it -- it's a LOCK-IN!!!! We will be meeting at the church at 9pm on Friday, December 30th and will go home at 9am on Saturday, December 31st.
Here's the scoop:

a good attitude
Please DO NOT come early - a few people will be here early to set up and get the building ready for the evening activities. However, we are not able to accommodate early drop-off.

Semi-Formal Christmas Party
We're going to PARTY on Wednesday, December 21st at 6:30pm (regular REAL LIFE time). This is a NICE event, so please dress up. (We're not talking prom dresses and tuxes - just come dressed nice for the occasion). We will have hors d'oeuvres and candlelight. This is a classy event - JUST FOR YOU!
Also - we will be concluding our evening with a white elephant gift exchange. Please bring a gift to share at the party. It needn't be fancy, and it needn't be new. Find something unusual at your house that you might not have use for, wrap it up and bring it to the party. (This is a great re-gifting opportunity!)
We will finish up at 8:00pm. Some of our students and volunteers will need to leave right after the event to go practice in the Christmas orchestra, so you're welcome to stick around just a bit, but then we're going to have to scoot!

Super Out Of Date
OK, you know all that food that gets pushed to the back of the refrigerator that you forget about and it gets nasty and goes out of date.
Yeah. That's what's happened to this website! We've been so busy putting together Announcements videos virtually every week, planning stuff, working on the main church website, updating the gotreallife facebook fan page that this page has been pushed to the back and DESPERATELY needs some updating.
I (Pastor Dave) am committing to pay a little more attention to this page and at least will try to keep the youtube links current for our weekly announcements. I'll also try to post pertinent comments about what's going on around the student ministry and such.
So - TONIGHT - FOOTBALL ROADTRIP!!!! WOOHOO! This will be our second one of the season. We're heading to Zane Trace to see them play Paint Valley. I think it'll be a fun time! You don't have to attend either school to ride along in the church van that smells really funky - there's room for some Warriors, Cavaliers, Tanks, we'll even let some Panthers ride along! It'll be fun! Bring $5 and something warm to wear, it's going to get chilly! We're meeting at the church at 6:30 -- game starts at 7:30. Who will win? Bear Cats or Pioneers?!?
